Anna Almquist Kaiser, DVM


Dr. Kaiser came to Encino Park Veterinary Clinic in 2000 and took over as owner in 2005. She graduated from the University of Alaska-Anchorage in 1995 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1999. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology and animal behavior. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and Veterinary Medical Association of Bexar County.

 

Dr. Kaiser and her husband Jason have four children. As animal lovers they are also parents to two horses, four dogs and three cats. In her spare time Dr. Kaiser enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, horseback riding, traveling and volunteering at church and her children’s schools.






Melissa Almquist, D.V.M.
Dr. Almquist grew up in Sugarland, Texas.  She graduated from Texas A&M in 1995 with a Biomedical Science Degree and from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  She came to Encino Park Veterinary Clinic in 2003 and has a special interest in surgery.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the current President of the Veterinary Medical Association of Bexar County.  She is married to Pete, a local dentist who is also Dr. Kaiser's brother.  They have one daughter, two black labrador retrievers, and two cats.  Her free time is spent enjoying family and friends, as well as gardening, running, and enjoying the Texas Hill Country.
